Freemasonry came to us by Kentucky and Ohio, with ancestry from Virginia, Pennsylvania, New England, and even England and Scotland.
Vincennes, IN - Organized in 1809 as Vincennes Lodge No. 15 - KY
Madison, IN - Organized in 1815 as Union Lodge No. 29 - KY
Charlestown, IN - Organized in 1816 as Blazing Star Lodge No. 36 - KY
Lawrenceburg, IN - Organized in 1817 as Lawrenceburg Lodge No. 44 - KY
Salem, IN - Organized and Chartered by KY. Never received an Indiana charter. Ceased to exist - 1818.
Corydon, IN - Organized in 1817, as Pisgah Lodge No. 45 - KY
Organized in 1817 as Rising Sun Lodge #UD - KY
Switzerland, IN - Organized in 1817 as Switzerland Lodge #UD - KY
Brookville, IN - Organized in 1871, as Brookville-Harmony Lodge No. 41- OH
